I have a slightly smaller version of the Redford, the maverick I think. It has served me well for several year's now. It did take some adjustment to get the RH correct with the cooling factor causing a little condensation at the base of the cooling wall but after I got it balanced out it has been almost hand's off.
I am not concerned about what you think as I can tell you don't do it often.

I used to be a people person, but then people ruined that for me.

I found this one on Craigslist. The guy is up in Dallas, so it would be a 8 hour round trip. He said he would take $1200 for it. It seems really nice, I'm just afraid to pull the trigger without seeing it first. Any thoughts?

Holy crap that is huge! I really like the way it appears that the humidifier is set up to pump out thru the vent holes in the back. You would need a ton of trays if you have a lot of singles. I also got mine off craigslist, $200, couldn't pass it up. I did have to buy the humidifier separate though.
This is not the admin you're looking for...

Yea, its a lot bigger than I need (for now!), and it will take up more space than I prefer. But, it does seem like a very well made humidor. It comes with shelves, but no trays. I'm thinking...and it hurts!  :biggrin:

 Brian, to me this looks like a modified cabinet.  The inside walls looks to be made of the same wood as the exterior (dark wood).  I really don't see any type of sure seal around the doors and frame?

This is my dream humidor, but the wife said no. I do a little wood working so I've been considering trying to make something similar. I'm sure it will cost just as much but I'm hoping she won't notice if I make it (and therefore buy it) piece by piece.

It does look like that. He said he's owned it for 7 yrs. The more I think about this one, I think less of it. If, and that's a big if, if I drop that amount of coin on a humidor, I'm gonna be darned sure of what I am getting. Scratch this one off the list...and talk to you soon Chuck!  :biggrin:

I'm just not sure I really need the temp control, as that has not been an issue for any of my smaller humidors. I could save a lot of money, and go with this set up instead.
