We inherited my wife's grandmother's tree, and finally have a house to set it up in. Next year, it should look more like Chucks, as we'll have a raised platform and a whole town to assemble (two day affair) beneath the boughs. Since I was photographing the tree, my wife insisted I take closeups of a couple of her favorite ornaments.  :biggrin:

Some incredible looking trees here! Despite the thread title being a turn-off ( :angry: ), this might be my favorite post yet.  :biggrin:

We usually get an 8 foot tree but went smaller this year.  And some closeups of my favorite ornaments   :biggrin:

Id like to see everyone repost these after Christmas morning so we can see the before and afters with regards to presents. Anyway here is mine, we are huge hockey fans so our last ornament that gets hung (after a complete show of homage) is the great one
I used to sit outside all night and drink bud lite and smoke Marlboros and everyone thought I was a bum. Now I sit outside all night and drink craft beers and smoke cigars and everyone thinks I have class.

Im not a ranger fan either (lightning for me), I would have rather had an oilers one but found this one at a store

We've done two trees for the past several years in our house.  One tradition and one Disney-fied.
I got to add a new ornament as a gift just today - Yoda!
