MBombay Habano and Horse Feather

I tried the MBombay Habano Gordo with a twist on the Horse Feather cocktail (Jameson, Ginger Beer, and Aromatic Bitters).

With the spices in the MBombay and the smooth ness of the cocktail, they paired well together. The bitter cut the sweetness and help to blend the Jameson and Ginger Beer. This 6x60 took 4 drinks from foot to band. A nice slow smoke, that was thick and rich every time. The burn was even, without a touch up the whole time. The first 2/3 were better in my opinion than the last 1/3, but I will smoke another MBombay Habano to see if it is the blend or the size that gave me the 2/3 flavor.

Sounds like you should be posting reviews my friend, earn some points!

I have been curious about the MBombay smokes.  Never had a horse feather either, but love ginger beer.  May have to give that one a go.

I've heard a lot of good things about MBombay, haven't seen them around my parts though and they aren't easy to find online either.

If anyone has a few Mbombays, I would be interested in doing some trading

I'll drink and I'll whore and every pleasure realize

Scottish Tobaccos in Atlanta has them, but they are a bit too pricey for me. These are made in the same factory as the Xiphos Panatella, so maybe I should just ask Mel for a fiver so we can do a Critique? :?:

That's a great idea, I'd volunteer for such a critique :shamebag:
