Welcome from New Mexico.
I am not concerned about what you think as I can tell you don't do it often.

I used to be a people person, but then people ruined that for me.

Thanks again for all of the responses. I don't have the experience to rate a cigar or offer a review yet - I've yet to try a dozen cigars - but I have to say, I just enjoyed a Montecristo Classic Toro and it's my fav so far. Smooth, easy draw, mouthful of smoke. Burned cool and even all the way to the ring. Didn't become too spicy or harsh in the last third. I don't have the vocabulary yet to adequately describe this stick, but I like it a lot! I can't wait to receive the assortment of 40 cigars I ordered from  Famous Smoke - should have them by the weekend!

Sounds like you're off to a good start. You mentioned harshness in the last third, be sure you're smoking slow, about a draw a minute on average. Sometimes if the cigar burns too fast it'll get too hot and give you that harshness or get bitter and just not be good.

I'm finding the blessing and the curse of being a newby - every cigar seems to be the new favorite. This evening I tried a Rocky Patel Vintage 1999 Toro. I had a little trepidation about it being fuller than the sticks I've tried in the last week, but I loved it. My palate isn't sophisticated enough to describe the flavor - I had hints of an un-named spice and leather. Burned perfectly, wouldn't go out even if I didn't puff for several minutes, smoke was cool and never hot or harsh and I wasn't ready to quit when it burned past the ring! Now I need to find the cigar that can be a daily smoker - I can't afford to burn $10 cigars on a daily basis!
