If you like Mombacho cigars, you might soon find some deep discounts out there, as they have three months to liquidate any on-hand stock of cigars bearing the Mombacho name before they will have to be pulled from shelves.

I liked the one we did a Geek Critique on. I think I still have one left somewhere from a box. Although I'm not sure who's brand it belongs to. I think it said Mambacho Thermonuclear on the band a if I remember correctly, it had the word Miami on the box. Anyhow, it got decent reviews here on the Geek Critique.

This is the cigar I had a box of and was reviewed here. It is the one that won the lawsuit so I guess it won't be going on sale. I'm not sure what the other ones look like

These must be the guys that lost the lawsuit, a Canadian who fell in love with Granada, maybe because it sounds like Canada :) This might be where sales might occur.

Come to think of it Stephen, I smoked a couple of bundles of the "Canadian" Mambacho (short Filler) last summer while in Canada. They were made by the same Canadian guys company and can be had for $5 CA from CigarChief.com. Actually, I may have thrown one your way as a tagalong with the last Geek Critique

The Thermonuclear was a cigar that was produced as a partnership between Casa Fernandez (now Aganorsa) and the Mombacho brand.  It was pretty much a mid-level Casa production cigar that was okay.  For the price point they still are, it was meh and you could get a much better cigar for the $8 or so you're spending there.

The Mombacho Cosecha's from 2014 and 2015 we pretty good, but then they cut that LE line after the 2 years.

Deaner-Where did you see that the two companies involved in the trademark dispute collaborated to produce the Mambacho Thermonuclear Miami LE by Casa Fernández, or did I not understand your post correctly?

The Casa Fernandez Mombacho Thermonuclear L.E. Miami Robusto was the cigar which we reviewed in the June 2021 Geek Critique.  It is NOT the Mombacho brand that lost the lawsuit.

See Bruce's post.  I guess they are two different companies...

I didn't see any reviews of this brand in the data base here but after snooping around on-line, the reviews I read seem very positive.  Available from Smallbatch cigars but no deep discounts yet.  May be worth keeping an eye out.
