Been having to use the small German clay ever since Texas decided to resemble a chest freezer! Mostly my Prince Albert blend and Haunted Bookshop in 5 minute sessions - I don't know how you guys up North deal with this...

I would switch from cigars to pipes in the winter. Cigar smoking in the house is a no-go but I could get away with the pipe since it was much less smoky and the aroma is less aggressive.  Now that we're in Nashville, I can get away with smoking outside during a much larger chunk of the year.
