Recently retired from my career of 34 yrs in supply chain and have enjoyed spending much more liesure time and especially cigar related activities. This site has helped me explore more of enjoyment not of just smoking cigars, but sharing my passion. Special thanks to @tuck0411 for his help with data base photos, entries as he is extremely dedicated to accurate information being posted in the data base.

Fell in love with cigars in the late 1980's while serving in the Army in Europe. Back in USA right for the cigar boom of the early 1990's. Attended early "Big Smoke Events" sponsored by Cigar Aficionado Mag. Stepped away from the passion for a good 15 years. Loving all of the fantastic cigars produced throughout the world now. It has never been a better time to enjoy premium hand made cigars.

My current quest is talking my wife into a vacation in Esteli to tour cigar factories, but I am pretty sure will have to settle for a trip to the DR with cigars as part of the fun.

This a great site and I am thoroughly enjoying the community here.

The best thing about having you aboard, Dan, is that you've been active posting what you've been smoking and also reviewing.
Glad you're enjoying the site.

Hey! How come Habana is written on here with a Sharpie ?!?

A day without whiskey is like . . . just kidding, I have no idea!

Tuck0411  :dancing:  Vacation plans: there are 35 cigar factories in Esteli, employing between 15,000 - 18,000 people.  Estelí and Danlí's population hovers around the 200,000 mark. The canton of Pursical in Costa Rica is a little over 35,000. Certainly while one can argue Pursical is to Costa Rica as Estelí and Danlí are to Nicaragua and Honduras respectively, it is a much smaller municipality in terms of population and businesses.

Hey,  you should check out The Herfcast!  It's not about anything in particular,  just talking about whatever comes to mind while smoking cigars and having a drink or 4.

I am not concerned about what you think as I can tell you don't do it often.

I used to be a people person, but then people ruined that for me.
