Hello!

I've put together a cigar app - Paradigm: Your Cigar Journey. I did it primarily for myself and my friend, as we have just started our cigar journey. I would love to hear what you like about it and what you don't.
My main concern is how to make a comprehensive guided journey. Really, any feedback would be much appreciated!

Below are some screenshots. It's currently available as a web-based application.

No disrespect intended, but you came to an established Cigar site with years of reviews, cigar sites, members, etc, etc to get us to help you establish your app?? Chill out and check our site out (you probably already have)  smoke a cigar and relax.  Maybe do a review, introduce yourself

Thanks for the reply, totally get your point.
I didn't see it that way - I believe one should not interfere with another. This website serves its purpose; it has a community, its own great features, history, etc.
My app offers different tools, such as a store finder and on-the-go cigar identification, etc., which cannot be achieved with the website alone.
What im hearing from you is that it might be beneficial to integrate one with another, maybe? Like the option to share reviews from the app to this website (and/or Reddit?), for instance, right?

I think he's saying, it looks like a great tool, but we don't know you :smoker: - so hang out on the site, get to know us a little bit, and then maybe we'd all be interested in helping with some constructive feedback

Head over to the "Introduction Page" and post a little bit about yourself, what cigars you smoke, how you came into the hobby, etc. :smoker:

Thanks, that's great advice! Will do

having a list of cigars owned (humidor) when they were bought/smoked would be useful.

Hello. Thank you for the suggestion - there is already a humidor functionality, which allows you to add a cigar to a humidor list and track it. Once you smoke a cigar (by adding a new journal entry), the app offers to remove it from the humidor tab, making it easier to manage your stock.
Give it a try  :rocker:

@FinanceBro Is it in the apple store? I'm Android. Didn't see it...

I think having a focus on newbs would give you a Unique market spot. There are tons of material you could focus on. Every week we get people walking into my shop saying they are new to cigars. We try to provide some basic cigar knowledge to help them further along in the hobby.

I like long walks, especially when they're taken by people who annoy me

Not yet. You can access it from the browser using this link: https://yourparadigm.app
I'm working on porting it into the Apple App Store and Google Play.

Im very much interested in this, sir, just a little bit later, once I have a tiny-tiny more users :) Let's keep in touch  :toast:

I've just released a huge update, with a major design overhaul and a comprehensive update to the cigar recommendation system.
Im welcoming everyone to give it a try and share feedback :) https://yourparadigm.app
Below the changelist and the screenshots. The bottom one is an old version of the app, for comparison's sake.

Home screen overhaul

I've significantly improved the Home Screen. It now guides you through your cigar journey, carefully recommends cigars you're likely to enjoy, and highlights top picks from our users, critics, and "Cigar of the Year" winners. I hope you enjoy the update and welcome your feedback.

Collection screen overhaul

I've dramatically updated the Collection screen, removing clutter and keeping only the core actions you actually need. At the same time, I've introduced a brand-new design, with distinct layouts for the Wishlist and Humidor tabs, as well as the Journal tab. Within the new design, each cigar's card contains a truly relevant description for you to enjoy.

Cigar scan results screen overhaul

I have hugely improved the cigar scan results screen, matching the style with the rest of the app. Additionally, I have added the "Tasting Journey" section, which is aimed to guide you through the experience you will have smoking this particular cigar.

Profile screen

I've moved all statistics from the Home page to the Profile page, accessible from the "More" tab. I've also expanded the available stats to give you a clearer view of your journey. Your feedback will help me refine this screen further.
