From what I've seen, there is a move by manufacturers to protect brick and mortars. The advent of "B&M only" cigars and certain manufacturers pulling products from the big box retailers is proof. From an industry standpoint, it makes sense since the B&Ms are the bread and butter. Honestly, this protection is good for the consumer since most smokers rely on their local shops in one way or another. It just stinks as a consumer since we've grown accustomed to the deep discounts.
