I couldn't sleep tonight so I was browing around the internet looking for ideas on building my own humidor to have a second one and found this webpage. Looks like they have some pretty nice things. They even make temperature controlled humidors. I saw a real nice end table one I would not mind having. Thought I would share with my fellow Geeks.

Very cool stuff!  I see on their webpage that they have a B&M shop location in Garland, Texas, which isn't too terribly far away from where I am.  I might drop in sometime and check some out in person.  Not like I could afford any of them, but I'd still love to see them in person and make plans for the future.

Yup very nice stuff but I know a decent woodwright can build these very easy. I would say that it would be half the cost or less depending on the wood itself.

I have been eying the Aristocrats for a long time.  I want one of the temperature controlled cabinet units badly.

Ooooo!  I want that BKW Credenza for my office desk at work! That would rock!

Those temp controlled units would be nice too.  It would certainly solve the beetle issue.  But the begin at $2,200 dollars. Ouch.

Too steep for my pockets.  They look really nice though.

Those are pretty slick. A little on the pricey side though.

I just saw that. I agree it looks very nice.
But I really liked the name "Wish Stealer". It had a Native American ring to it. -Brlesq

Yes, there is some nice stuff there, but they are a little pricey. I found them because I am looking for a way to regulate the temperature of my humidor. I have even thought about just building my own like this and building my own desktop one as well. I have one now that I bought, but there is just something about telling someone you made your own and seeing it that gives you an entirely different feeling.

If I had the tools and the time, I would definitely build my own.  Not only would it be cheaper, you can personalize/customize it anyway you want. :shades:

When I get started on mine I will do a step by step instruction with pics and hopefully post this but it will take a bit of time since I am renovating the house when I am not working 6 days a week....In fact any other geeks do their own humidors....we should post some of the talents of these guys/girls in the help area
