Limiting availability works well for the marketing purposes of Corporación Habanos S.A., Andre (Viaje), Carlos (Fuente) and others who intentionallly hold down a cigar's availability while cranking up the price.  

However, that artificially imposed rarity, if anything, will adversely affect my rating and never positively affect my personal impression of the cigar.

My rating system has probably evolved from a couple years ago, but at this point, I don't really factor in price too much when I rate a cigar.

I'm with you on this one on both the evolution and price issues.

I think Dave has evolved quite a bit.  He was smoking some real nasty sh*t when he first joined. Now he smokes better cigars and he grew some opposable thumbs!
