I have decided to go with all 65% beads in my new vinodor.  Of course as luck would have it Heartfelt is closed until June 1st.  Which by the way means that they will discount any orders placed until then by 15%.  I was wondering if anyone had some laying around that they would be willing to part with.  I would like at least 4 ounces up to 1/2 pound.  I would gladly pay full price (or something reasonably close) plus shipping and then you could replace your supply at 15% off.  Or if someone would like to go with 70% beads I have 1/2 pound of them that I could trade.  Thanks in advance for any consideration.

You can have my 65% beads after you pry them out of my cold dead humidors! Be prepared to endure a hail storm of high speed ordnance before you get to that point though.

I just switched over to 65% beads after using one of those silica gel jars for a while (thank goodness I ordered when I did instead of waiting).  Nothing wrong with the jar, but the 65% beads are unbelievable.  Never have I had to worry so little about the RH in my tupperdors.  Plus, I really think that keeping my sticks at 65% is improving the way they burn.  I'll can't foresee myself ever using anything else.  Some 65% beads in bags made of nylon stockings, a little distilled water... done and done.

Great choice Robert LG.  I don't think you'll be at all disappointed with your decision to switch to 65% beads.  Best thing I've ever done for my RH.

I agree, I have one drawer in my humidor that I have never put a hygrometer in, I use the beads and the cigars maintain themselves

I have been using 67% beads from Heartfelt for a while now and love them. I imagine 65% will be just fine for you.  Good move there Robert!

I am familiar with how good the beads are.  I have had the 70% variety in my igloodor for quite some time now.  It was rock steady at about 68% RH with very little need for recharging.   I recently set up a vinodor that is larger than my coolidor, so I needed more beads.  I bought 65% in hopes that they would sort of work together and meet in the middle.  Stupid thought on my part due to getting in a hurry.  The 70% beads are dry and the 65% beads are too wet.  It has been OK so far but not as steady for the past couple of days for my liking.  The RH has slowly drifted up from 66% to 71%.  I realize 71% is not the end of the world but I do believe that some sticks will be troublesome at that level.  So, 65% beads all the way as soon as Kyle's shipment arrives.  Thanks again Kyle!

I love the Heartfelt beads... I like spending my money on them, and saving my money on hygrometers...

My wife did find it funny when she realized that I'd gone to Walmart and purchased stockings to hold them...

Got them today.  Thanks for the quick help Kyle.  I am assuming that they were in your humidor because they smell great.  With that I would assume they are charged already.  I see some clear beads so it looks like some are wet.  They are already homesick after getting a look at my collection.

Seriously, as soon as started using the beads, my hygrometer became virtually irrelevant.  I still have two on hand to be safe, one digital and one analog, but the beads work so well that my humidity never gets above 67%.  It drops when I open my tupperdors, of course, but as soon as I close them back up the humidity gets back up to 65-67% within a half hour.

Honestly, I'll never go with any other humidity devices ever again.  I've tried the sponge puck, the jar with gel, humidity packs, and the beads, and the beads work the best by far.

Pretty much my thoughts on it too...
