Allright, everyone, this one is officially closed for this year.  For those that donated, my genuine thanks go out to you all.  For those that missed it this year, there is always 2012.

The first half went out today to Dale Marshall's group, a regular at one of the local B&M before he was deployed.  The second half will be going out this week to a group recommended by SenorPablo.

Here are a couple of pics:

Went to Applebees yesterday to celebrate my daughters having great report cards.  While I was there I found out they were also giving free meals to any veterans, a very cool move by them.  I mingled with a few and talked a little bit about the cigars for troops.  I can tell you YES they do really appreciate them.  For them it may be the only time of their day they will be able to forget about everything for an hour and relax.  You guys are doing a really great thing  AWESOME !!!!!! :bigthumbs:

That is quite an accomplishment, Geeks! Our men and women in uniform are sure to enjoy them!

And a big thanks again to Nathan (nwb) for coordinating the effort again this year.  Folks don't realize just how much work it takes to get this done.     :bigthumbs:  :bigthumbs:

As a newbie, i just saw this thread for the first time. This is amazing! My brother in law just got back from overseas and he said that a good cigar was really the only thing he had to unwind and get his mind off of things (he couldn't drink). Way to Geeks! I can't wait to be apart of the next one!

The cigars went to two different groups.  I received confirmation that one batch made it.

Unfortunately, the other box bounced back to me.  Those were sent out again to the group above and should be arriving soon.
