Glass top or no glass top

I read today that the Glass top can cause the wrapper to fade if there is too much light. I assume if they are not in direct sunlight it shouldnt matter if it has a glass top or not?

I had a glass top for awhile, I always had a hard time keeping the humidity right, not sure if this was because of the specific humi I had or if it relates more generally to humis with glass tops

Im not sure, but I would think that a glass top may cause mold to grow. I believe there are some kinds of mold that do not need light to grow, but some thrive on it. I do know that 70% humidity at 65-70 degrees is a perfect environment for mold to grow. I think the addition of light may increase the chances.
